How to make candle mockups
- Pick your scenes. Choose one or more templates above.
- Add all your wrap designs. Drop in full wrap files as PNG or JPG, for example 2980 × 697 px. With the default Fill setting, the middle of each file goes on the front of the jar.
- Download every mockup. Scaylr makes every design on every scene you picked in one batch. Download the PNG or JPEG files, or one ZIP sorted by design on a paid plan.

Design tips for printed candle jars
Put the key text in the middle. From the front you see about half of the jar, and near its edges the glass turns away, so text there looks squeezed. Keep names and logos within the middle third of the wrap, about 85 mm (our calculation).
Keep text short and large: the print band is only 59 mm tall. Repeating patterns suit the rest of the wrap and look right from any side.
The two ends of the file meet (in our mockups, at the back of the jar), so don't split a word across them.
Questions
What size should a candle wrap design be?
Gelato lists a full wrap print area of 252.3 × 59.0 mm for the Posh Candle (checked October 2026). At 300 DPI that is 2980 × 697 px (our calculation).
Which part of my wrap shows in the mockup?
The middle. Each scene shows the front of the jar, about the middle 40% of a full wrap file; the two ends go round the back.
Are these mockups free?
Yes. They are in the free template library (you need a free account). Free mockups carry a small watermark, except your first 50 after you sign up.
