"List more" is the most common advice new Etsy sellers hear, and the least helpful on its own. A hundred rushed listings with one photo each won't do much. A hundred good listings, built on a plan, give Etsy search more to show and buyers more reasons to trust your shop. Here's a realistic ten-week plan to get there without burning out.

TL;DR

Reach 100 listings in about ten weeks by working in batches: pick one niche, make designs in groups of 10, create a full photo set for each batch at once with mockup templates, and publish 10–15 listings a week. Review Etsy Stats every two weeks and make more of what gets views and favourites. Publishing 100 listings costs $20 in listing fees ($0.20 each); your real investment is time, so batch the slow parts.

Why aim for 100 listings?

More listings mean more chances to appear in search: each listing targets its own keywords, and each one is another door into your shop. Our guide to how many Etsy listings you need for your first sale covers the early milestones; 100 is where a shop starts to look established, with enough variety for buyers to browse and enough data for you to see what works.

But the number only helps if every listing is complete: a clear title, good tags, and a full photo set. That's why this plan is built around batches, not single listings.

What does the ten-week plan look like?

Week 1: How do you set up for speed?

  1. Choose one niche. A focused shop (for example, cocktail and kitchen prints) is easier to design for, photograph and rank than a random mix. See how to research an Etsy niche.
  2. Pick your photo set once. Choose 6–10 mockup templates that cover the 10-photo checklist: hero, room, angle, detail, set and so on. You'll reuse them for every design.
  3. Write a title and tag formula. For example "[Subject] Print, [Style] Wall Art, [Room] Decor, [Gift]". A formula keeps every listing consistent and fast.
  4. Decide your prices with the numbers in how to price digital prints on Etsy.

Weeks 2–10: How does a batch work?

Each batch is 10 designs, taken from idea to live listings together:

  1. Design 10 pieces in the same niche and size ratio.
  2. Make every photo at once. Load your template set and all 10 designs into a batch mockup generator. With 8 templates that's 80 listing photos from one run, already grouped by design.
  3. Write the listings using your title and tag formula.
  4. Publish 10–15 listings a week on a steady schedule rather than 100 in one day, so you can learn from each batch.

Batch the slow part

Photos are usually the bottleneck: opening a PSD, pasting a design, saving and exporting, 80 times per batch. Doing them all in one generator run turns hours into minutes. Our post on how batch mockups save Etsy sellers time works through the numbers.

What should every listing have before it goes live?

Run through this list for each batch before you press publish. It takes a few minutes and prevents most of the fixes you'd otherwise make later.

What should you check every two weeks?

Open Etsy Stats and look at views, visits and favourites per listing:

How do sets and seasons fit in?

From week 4, turn your best-performing designs into print sets; they're new listings from existing artwork, and they raise order value (see gallery wall mockups for print sets). From week 6, add seasonal listings well ahead of time using the Etsy seasonal calendar. And test lifestyle vs flat lay first photos on your top listings.

Pro tip

Keep a simple spreadsheet: design name, batch, date listed, views and favourites at 2 and 4 weeks. After three or four batches the patterns (which subjects, colours and photo styles work) become obvious, and your later batches get better.

Quality beats speed

If you fall behind, publish fewer listings, not worse ones. Ten complete listings a week beat thirty with one photo and copied tags.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to reach 100 Etsy listings?
About ten weeks at 10–15 listings a week, if you work in batches and reuse the same photo templates for every design.
How much does it cost to list 100 items on Etsy?
$20 in listing fees ($0.20 per listing). Each listing renews for $0.20 after four months or when it sells.
Should I publish all my listings at once?
No. A steady 10–15 a week lets you learn from each batch in Etsy Stats and improve the next one.
What's the fastest way to make listing photos for many designs?
Use a fixed set of mockup templates and a batch mockup generator, so every design gets its full photo set in one run.
