Frequently Asked Questions

Is it free?

Yes. The free plan makes 30 mockups a day with a small watermark, with no credit card. The free templates need a free account, and your first 50 mockups in the 7 days after you sign up are watermark-free. Starter ($9.99/month, 1,000 mockups) and Pro ($17.99/month, unlimited) remove the watermark.

Can I use a full-wrap mug design?

Yes. On mug scenes with a curved print area, choose full wrap for a sublimation wrap file: the part of the wrap that faces the camera is shown. Choose one side for a logo or quote centred on the front. Scaylr suggests one from the shape of your design.

Do I need Photoshop?

No. Scaylr processes PSD templates entirely in your browser. Upload your design images (PNG or JPG) and the tool handles all the Smart Object processing automatically. No software to install.

Can I use my own PSD templates?

Yes. Upload any PSD file that contains Smart Object layers. You can also browse our free template library to get started immediately.
